Nigel majakari

Author

Nigel is a British author and entrepreneur living in the alpine village of Grindelwald, Switzerland. His thirty years experience working in different cultures and communities around the world left him with stories and questions about the critical issues facing humankind and the planet. Inspired by the people, landscape, and history of the Bernese Oberland, Nigel created the world of Hilde of the Jungfrau.
The first in the Hilde of the Jungfrau series of graphic novels, The Eismeer Diamond Part One will be availble end of October 2026.

Stefano Buro

ILLUSTRATOR

Italian illustrator, artist and musician Stefano Buro brings Hilde’s world to life through a visual language that moves between the epic scale of the Alps and the intimate world of its characters. Mountains, villages, journals and hidden places become part of the storytelling.
Born in Verona, Stefano has also lived in Japan, experiences that have shaped his sense of place, atmosphere and detail. That blend of European and Japanese influence runs quietly through the visual world he creates for Hilde of the Jungfrau.
